Testimonies

“Many people come to our door having been to counselors and therapists who offer no hope. As believers and parts of the church of the living God, we have the answer. The word is very clear on what we are to do for the brokenhearted, the captives, and the sick. We are to be the answer to this world’s brokenness. We must rise up as a healing army and not shrink back when we hear stories of brokenness. We need to take these precious ones to the ‘Son of Righteousness who has healing in His wings and in His beams of light.’ (Malachi 4:2) “

Below are a few testimonies of individuals who have experienced healing and breakthrough through Beth Shalom:

“I was numb. Diagnosed with a stage 4, rare blood lymphoma for over nine years and dealing with worsening symptoms had left me with no hope. I was not encouraged that the cancer was not aggressive, rather it seemed like a version of water board torture that took all my joy and peace and gave me continuous pain. To leave this earth seemed to be a win win situation. I would no longer hurt and I would get to spend eternity with Jesus.”

“The second session of prayer was also immensely liberating. More strongholds were broken and I felt like my core being was loosened to be free to enjoy life in Christ. I am seeing and experiencing life with a new freedom that I never dreamed possible. I still am amazed today that those areas that always triggered immediate anger and hate, now have no effect on me. The anger has no power over me. This journey of freedom is just beginning for me. I am expectant of more that God has for me, but stand amazed at what he has done already. I am thankful that God has raised up these saints. And so thankful that they are obedient to the call of God on their life. And thankful that there is power in the name of Jesus to break all the chains that bind us.”

“I will not die, but live, and I will Proclaim what the Lord has done.”
-Psalm 118:17

“A woman had come for ministry after spending a large sum of money and a month of her life at a Healing Center. I ask her what she needed from Jesus and why she had come for prayer. She explained that she had dipped into her inheritance to get some healing and after weeks of counsel and prayer the minister simply told her she was very broken. She was devastated.”

“She had poured out her soul, her money, and her time in hope of healing and all they could do was diagnose her as “very broken.” Her hopes were now shattered as well as her soul. I listened to this precious woman’s stories and prayed with her as the Lord led. She experienced His heart for her. She encountered the Living God! She left here full of joy and in one piece again.”

“I shared the passage from 1 Thessalonians with her at the end of the ministry time and she wept. Her words were, ‘I do feel put back together again. I was so afraid there was no hope for me, now I can go on with my life.’ She left full of joy and hope.” -Monte

“I was there In June and was there about 5 hours…just wanted you both to know that my lupus is in remission…no sign of the disease in my body…doc said I may just be his miracle. I would love to come back out one day and sit a while longer but I do feel I am healed! The works that you both do are so miraculous and I’ll appreciate you both the rest of my life.”

“Monte prays with wisdom, authority, and love. I am so glad she invested the years of self discipline, scripture study, and obedience to God, developing her keen ear to the Holy Spirit. And we are so blessed by her compassion for others and her selfless purpose to usher others into shalom- wholeness and peace.”

“Thank you for being a vessel the Lord utilized powerfully to minister to my daughter and I last week. There is a new peace in our home. He is continuing to refine me, to cover me in His love, to pour out His healing. His Kindness was displayed through you both and we pray blessing over you, through your obedience in ministering His love.”

“I remember this like it was yesterday. The shock of my new reality. I remember vacuuming and hurrying to turn it off because I didn’t want to wake the baby. I remember crying because I could not remember the outfit I buried him in. Everyday was a new storm to get through. I knew one day it would get easier. I was ready for that day but at the same time I thought that if that day came I would not be honoring my baby’s life. The milk came and I pumped, it was almost like a piece of Him was still here. The day my milk dried up was like losing him all over again. I am so thankful that God put people in my life that would lead to experience His restoration and healing. Through the ministry of Beth Shalom I was able to experience that restoration and healing. I can now think of my sweet baby and smile. I truly have the peace that passes all understanding.”
