Setting People Free
We offer one on one ministry sessions.
God has taught us a distinctive and highly effective way of praying with people. Everyone has experienced hurts, emotional and physical wounds in their lives. Often, we don’t know how to deal with these painful experiences, so we pull ourselves together, make sure no one sees us crying, and try to carry on with life the best we can. But these wounds leave a mark on our souls and over time these unresolved painful experiences accumulate and build up inside us. We wonder why we keep getting ourselves into similar situations and repeating the same mistakes. We struggle with doing well for a while and then going off the rails, or losing it over a seemingly minor incident. We might find an uncomfortable discrepancy between who we want to be and how we really want to live, as compared with how we feel inside and how we actually live. Most people find patterns that recur in their life that they wish were not there, but which they do not seem to be able to rise above.
God can pinpoint these places where we got damaged or fractured, and completely heal us from the inside-out. He has shown us how to discern where the broken places or fractures are, and how He can remedy them. People always comment on how they feel much more free, and how they are finally able to let go of certain repeated behavior patterns and step into the life that God always intended for them. “So if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.” John 8:36
People consistently describe their experience of these ministry sessions as life transforming and as a significant leap forward in their journey of faith. Beth Shalom is a ministry of profound inner healing, with a powerful and lasting deliverance from the patterns of the past.
These one-on-one ministry sessions usually take about three hours and can be done with either Monte or Hugh in Staples, Texas, or with other people we have trained in different areas of the country. (Staples is outside San Marcos, midway between Austin and San Antonio.)
